Chocolate Filled

Enjoy the subtle combination of Belgian chocolate and the sweetness of a butter waffle. This chocolate filled waffle is guaranteed to give you a moment of pure happiness.

A waffle filled with chocolate? It sounds almost too good to be true. Well…it is true, and it is good. And it’s even better topped with fresh strawberries, a ribbon of caramel sauce, or a simple dusting of confectioners’ sugar. Of course you could go candy crazy and smother your chocolate filled waffles with butter and crushed toffee bits (we won’t tell).

These chocolate filled squares are so versatile, you could serve them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One waffle is good but two (with a layer of hazelnut spread and some sliced bananas in between) is out of this world. A couple scoops of chocolate chip ice cream on the side? Now that’s what we call a chocolate fix.

SERVING INSTRUCTIONS:
Waffles can be heated from frozen or thawed. Always remove wrapper before heating.

TO THAW:
Do not remove wrapper and leave waffles at room temperature for up to 2 hours or in refrigerator for up to 12 hours.
In Microwave: Remove wrapper and microwave for up to 25 seconds or until slightly soft.

OVEN OR TOASTER OVEN:
Preheat oven to 400° farenheit for 10 minutes.
Waffles from frozen: Place frozen waffles on a cookie sheet in oven for 12-14 minutes.  Allow waffles to cool before eating.
Waffles from thawed: Place thawed waffles on a cookie sheet in oven for 4-5 minutes. Allow waffles to cool before eating.

TOASTER:
Waffles from thawed: Place thawed waffles in toaster at medium-high heat for approximately 2 minutes. Allow waffles to cool before eating.

THAW & EAT:
Thaw according to above.  Eat waffles within 8 hours of thawing for best flavor.

NOTE:
Heating times may vary depending on oven or toaster wattage and may need to be adjusted.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep frozen or up to 3 days in the refrigerator after thawing. Do not re-freeze waffles after thawing.
